General Symposium Information
- The morning session of the symposium is available in person or via WebEx. Full day registration for in person attendees only.
- 7 hours of EMS and nursing CEs/CEUs will be awarded.
- The Symposium is offered at no charge.
- Breakfast and lunch provided for those attending both sessions

- Review assessment and treatment considerations for preoperative and
postoperative pediatric congenital heart patients.
“OB Emergencies” – Karen Snider, RN, MSN (AirLife High-Risk OB Team)
OBJECTIVES:
- Identify and recognize the overall changes during pregnancy; cardiac, pulmonary, renal etc.
- Assess and evaluate whether to stay or to go with potentially delivering pregnant patient in EMS setting.
- Describe options in the ems setting that can assist with providing a safe transport of the obstetrical patient.
