What is pediatric urology?

Pediatric urology is a specialty that focuses on the disorders of a child’s genitourinary system. Our pediatric specialists are dedicated to treating infants, children and young adults with urologic conditions that may require surgical or non-surgical treatment. We provide care for both congenital abnormalities and problems of the genitourinary tract.

What is a pediatric urologist?

The urinary tract includes organs primarily responsible for cleaning and filtering excess fluid and waste from the blood. The kidneys also function as glands that produce hormones necessary for building red blood cells and regulating blood production. The urinary system includes:
