Children who have complex surgery or need to be hospitalized due to serious illness or injury are often cared for in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). The PICU at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center provides comprehensive care and monitoring 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
