Maternal-fetal medicine for high-risk pregnancy in Denver

At Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children (RMHC), we know that high-risk pregnancies involve two people—or more in the case of multiples. Our maternal-fetal medicine, fetal surgery and high-risk pregnancy teams in Denver are committed to the well-being of both mother and baby. Matter of fact, RMHC at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center is the only hospital in the Rocky Mountain region with a Level IV Maternal Fetal Program and a Level IV NICU.

Sometimes, you know you face a high-risk pregnancy from conception, such as if you have diabetes—or if you are pregnant later in life. However, in other cases, unexpected circumstances can arise during your routine prenatal care or during labor and delivery.

If you experience complications during your pregnancy, the maternal-fetal specialists at RMHC are here for you. Not only do we provide compassionate, comprehensive high-risk pregnancy care, but we are also a full-service hospital. If your baby requires specialized care after birth, we will care for him or her in the Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at RMHC, and we offer immediate access to physicians in a variety of specialties.

Our Level IV NICU provides the highest level of care for premature and ill newborns and is the largest NICU in the region with 84 beds.

RMHC’s Center for Maternal/Fetal Health ensures high-risk moms and their babies can be cared for on the same medical campus, under the same roof.
