Pediatric gynecology exams and visits

Your daughter’s initial and annual gynecology visits are geared toward promoting good health and screening for any potential gynecologic problems. These visits offer a way for you, your daughter and her gynecologist to openly discuss what is happening with her body and how to properly take care of herself.

Pediatric gynecology services we offer

Many conditions that affect gynecological, reproductive and sexual health can be detected early, which in most cases, provides a more positive prognosis and successful treatment.

Our compassionate, sensitive team of gynecologists can provide additional services to adolescents who are sexually active. We provide pelvic examinations, infection and sexually transmitted disease testing and counseling services to teach your daughter about reproductive health.

We also offer:

  • Management and education about menstrual cycles, abnormalities and disorders
  • Breast imaging and screening
  • Preventive reproductive counseling
  • Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) treatment
  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs) and incontinence treatment
  • Toxic shock syndrome (TSS) prevention and treatment
  • Bacterial vaginosis and yeast infection treatment
  • Pap smears

HPV vaccinations

At RMHC, we offer vaccinations to protect against human papillomavirus (HPV), a sexually transmitted infection, which can lead to health complications. We are proud to offer this vaccination to protect girls and boys who may become exposed to the infection.
