Dr. McAvoy is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who graduated with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. She went on to complete a Pediatric Psychology Internship at The Children's Hospital in Denver and an adult/pediatric Behavioral Medicine post-doctorate fellowship at Farren Memorial Hospital in Massachusetts. She has 20+ years of experience both as a Clinical Psychologist and as a School Psychologist.
Sue Kirelik, MD
Medical Director of the Center for Concussion
Sue Kirelik, MD, is a Pediatric Emergency Physician at the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children. She is the Medical Director for the Center for Concussion and Pediatric Emergency Services. Dr. Kirelik graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine and went on to complete a pediatric residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington,DC. She did a Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Children's Hospital, Oakland in California. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Kirelik developed an emergency department based concussion program at Sky Ridge Medical Center in 2006. The program is now being expanded to include all 8 of the Health ONE emergency departments. When not busy cheering on the sidelines for her 3 kids she is puttering in her garden.
Michele Chetham, MD
Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine
Michele Chetham, MD, is a board certified pediatrician and pediatric emergency medicine physician. She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Chetham completed a residency at University of Massachusetts Medical Center and a fellowship at Children's Hospital.
