Denver, CO - Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children (RMHC), KOSI 101.1 and CBS4 are celebrating the culmination of the 2021 Teddy Bear Patrol with a special drive-thru party where community members and their families can easily drop off new stuffed animals as part of the community campaign by simply driving through the RMHC main entrance. Through the 6-week 2021 Teddy Bear Patrol people and organizations from around the Denver-metro community came together to drop off new stuffed animals at RMHC, HealthONE and CareNow Urgent Care locations. RMHC in turn gives the new stuffed animals to first responders and emergency teams throughout the state to give to children in a time of need. Previous campaigns have collected more than 4,000 stuffed animals and this year is looking to be no different. The 2021 Teddy Bear Patrol is especially meaningful after a brief ‘paws’ last year and the growing need to provide resources to help children cope with emergency medical situations.

What: At the August 28 drive-thru event, community members and their families will drop off new stuffed animals to Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, get fun Teddy Bear Patrol goodies, meet KOSI 101.1, CBS4, and Kroenke Sports mascots while everyone celebrates the generosity of the Denver community (in a safe, socially distant way and without getting out of their cars).
