The Family Birthplace

Our Family Birthplace at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children P/SL is specially designed for the mother's comfort and care. Our beautifully decorated private rooms are where mothers experience labor, delivery and recovery. Each room features whirlpool baths, sleeping chairs for partners, windows, and personal entertainment.

Our specialty staff includes labor and delivery nurses, mother/baby nurses, perinatal nurse practitioners, neonatal nurse practitioners, 24/7- dedicated obstetric anesthesia staff, board certified/eligible obstetricians, maternal-fetal specialists, neonatologists, family practice physicians, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, certified nurse midwives, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and operating room technicians-all to provide mothers with more choices for quality care throughout their pregnancy and the birth of their baby.
