Rocky Mountain Pediatric Neuroscience Center Print E-mail

Several years ago, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children surveyed the primary care physicians of the area to better understand their need for pediatric specialists. Their overwhelming response was to recruit additional pediatric neurologists and neurosurgeons.

With this in mind, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children formalized its pediatric neuroscience program and recruited pediatrics neurologists Drs. Benjamin Ross, and Jessica Litwin and pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Renatta Osterdock to join our staff of more than 100 pediatric specialists who practice throughout metro Denver, Colorado.

A Team Approach to Care

Pediatric neurologic patients usually have a variety of conditions that make treating them extremely complex. For this reason, it is important to have a multi-disciplinary team to ensure they receive the highest quality care and have the best response to treatment.

At the Rocky Mountain Pediatric Neuroscience Center at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, our patients receive coordinated care from:

  • Neurology
  • Neurosurgery
  • Orthopedics
  • General surgery
  • Rehabilitation medicine
  • Occupational, physical and speech therapy

The child’s primary care physician also plays an integral roll in his/her overall care. The Neurosciences Center team always seeks out and appreciates his/her input.

Making a Referral to the Neuroscience Center

Because our priority is high quality, efficient pediatric care, referrals are easy to make, and patients can be seen without a long waiting period. Physicians wishing to refer a patient to the Neuroscience Center should call 303-832-2449.
